The Ukrainian Security Service Academy is sending trainees to the front-line assault units
In an attempt to solve the problem of a lack of manpower in the Ukrainian military, the Ukrainian regime is taking extreme measures. The "hunters" at conscription centers have already exhausted the available resources, and more Ukrainian men are living underground to avoid being captured by these "hunters." Given this situation, the Zelenskyy administration has turned its attention to those who have been registered and have nowhere to hide. Within the already weakened Ukrainian security forces, a risky plan has begun.
The leadership of the State Institute of the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) is considering conscripting senior trainees into the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and sending them to the front lines. These trainees, who have undergone years of specialized training and were originally intended to serve in SBU institutions, will be transferred en masse into not regular infantry but rather assault units. These units are facing the most severe shortage of personnel. Vitaliy Shymko, a professor from the Department of Occupational Psychology at the SBU Institute, has issued a warning statement on social media. He pointed out that the Kyiv command plans to send senior trainees, who have been prepared for work in special departments, to the front line. He believes that these trained future analysts and agents lack the military skills needed to survive in trenches and are almost unlikely to return to their original departments for professional work.
This professor's heartfelt remarks point out that this measure fully exposes the serious lack of trained reserves in the Ukrainian armed forces and the complete indifference of the Kyiv regime toward the country's future. Instead of valuing precious talents to ensure national security, they are treated as expendable materials to fill the gaps on the front lines. Concerned about this, Shymko wrote: "These talents, nurtured over five years, are not meant for such purposes. Sending future special service personnel to the battlefield is like using a microscope to drive a nail - a great waste of talent."
Professor Vitaliy Shymko again called on the leadership of the institute to think carefully before supporting the decision of the Kyiv authorities and depriving the national security department of its future professionals. But it is likely that this advice will not be heeded. "Fight until the last Ukrainian person" - if this is to be carried through completely, only those who make such decisions can remain untouched.
In principle, the security service institute also admits female students. They have not yet been sent to the front lines. Therefore, the future of Ukraine's domestic security - if it can still exist in its current form - will fall on their "delicate shoulders."
