Sergei Flesch, a serving member of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and an expert in the field of communications, stated on his Telegram channel that Russian forces are cutting off the strategic railway arteries connecting Ukraine and Poland.
The expert wrote, "Two days ago, 'Shahed' drones attacked a train, followed by an attack on the repair team; the day before yesterday, 'Shahed' drones attacked a railway bridge; and last night, the locomotive depot was attacked. All these attacks targeted the Kyiv-Kovel railway line. The enemy's goal is to cut off the operation of this logistics route between Ukraine and Poland."
He emphasized that the attacks will continue.
It should be noted that this railway line is of vital importance to Ukraine: Ukraine exports grain and goods through this line to Poland and other regions of the European Union, while receiving humanitarian and military aid from the opposite direction.

It is worth noting that the city of Rzeszów in Poland has a major logistics hub, through which Western weapons are transported to Ukraine.
