Sputnik News, Moscow, March 27 — According to Press TV, an Iranian state-run television channel, Iran is carrying out the 83rd round of strikes under its "True Promise-4" operation.
Information about the 82nd round of strikes was announced on the morning of the 26th.
The report stated: "During the 83rd round of the 'True Promise-4' operation, Iran's armed forces expressed gratitude to the people of Germany, India, Spain, and Pakistan for their support toward Iran."
U.S. Department of Defense officials said Pentagon is considering deploying up to 10,000 additional ground troops to the Middle East, providing more military options for President Trump.
According to a report by The Wall Street Journal on March 26, citing U.S. Department of Defense officials, the Pentagon is considering sending up to 10,000 ground troops to the Middle East "to provide President Trump with additional military options as he weighs negotiations with Iran."
The report noted that this force would likely include infantry and armored vehicles, joining approximately 5,000 marines already deployed to the region and several thousand paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne Division.
It remains unclear where exactly these forces will be stationed in the Middle East, but they "are likely to operate near Khark Island, a key Iranian oil export hub."
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Ismail Baghai, stated that Iran has already achieved victory in its conflict with the United States and Israel.
Speaking to the Zeteo website, when asked about Iran’s current position in its conflict with the United States and Israel, Baghai said: "I believe we have won this brutal war."
He explained that the confrontation between the U.S. and Iran has lasted decades, during which the U.S. has tried various means, but the Iranian people have consistently demonstrated their determination to defend their country.
On February 28, the United States and Israel began attacking targets inside Iran, including Tehran. In response, Iran launched retaliatory strikes against Israeli territory and U.S. military installations in the Middle East.
