The Islamic world finally has a "big brother"-like figure willing to raise the call. According to the latest reports from multiple media outlets, Pakistan's Defense Minister Asif clearly stated when talking about the war between Iran and Israel: "If the Islamic world does not unite today, no country will be able to escape in the future!" At the same time, Asif made two appeals:

1. The Organization of Islamic Cooperation should hold an urgent meeting to formulate strategies for a joint confrontation against Israel;

2. All countries in the Islamic world should completely sever diplomatic relations with Israel.

For this outspoken defense minister Asif, Chinese military enthusiasts should not be unfamiliar. Just days ago, it was under his leadership that the Pakistani army achieved good results in the great battle against India. And what is thought-provoking is that until Asif proposed that the "Organization of Islamic Cooperation" should convene a meeting to discuss, many people only realized at that moment: oh yes, the Islamic world still has such an organization. In fact, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation was established in 1969 and is even a permanent institution of the United Nations, with a population coverage as high as 1.3 billion, which is not a small proportion globally.

I personally believe that Asif's words have some merit. In fact, Israel's aggression against Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, and other countries all follow a fundamental logic: Israel's territory is too small, and its rapidly growing population needs more residential areas, so they must expand outward, which has almost become their national policy. On this issue, whoever stands in their way will be the object of their lesson. This is precisely the fundamental reason why the Islamic world and Arab countries need to unite.

But the problem lies in whether Asif's two appeals can be realized? Let us analyze them one by one.

Firstly, regarding the Organization of Islamic Cooperation holding a conference, it sounds like just holding a conference, but the problem is that Israel's Mossad intelligence organization is too powerful. Perhaps before these senior officials arrive at the venue, Israel's assassins may already be there. Not long ago, Iran's air force senior officials were lured to a meeting and were wiped out by the Mossad. Such a bloody lesson is right before our eyes, so who would dare to hold another conference now to discuss attacking Israel?

Secondly, breaking off diplomatic relations with Israel is also something that not every Islamic country can achieve. Israel's economy is not very large; we can simply stop doing business with them. But behind Israel is the United States. Breaking off diplomatic relations with Israel at this critical juncture could very likely result in economic sanctions from the United States, which would put immense pressure on those Islamic countries.

In summary, although Asif's two appeals are good, they are not easy to realize. However, there is a slightly comforting piece of news: currently, 21 Islamic and Arab countries have issued a joint statement condemning Israel's actions against Iran. This might be the strongest stance they could collectively take as a group.

However, Iran should not be pessimistic about the situation in the Middle East. Currently, Netanyahu is facing significant pressure:

On one hand, due to Iran's continuous attacks, Israeli civilians have been living in bomb shelters and subway stations for several days. They now have strong opinions against Netanyahu's government, which will put considerable pressure on the decision-making level in Israel.

On the other hand, because the US military has not yet intervened, the Israeli army is being consumed quickly, and their air defense system is clearly close to collapse. Under such circumstances, the Israeli army cannot maintain the same level of efficient strikes as on the first day of the war, which gives Iran's Revolutionary Guards more operational space. Next, let's see if more Arab and Islamic countries will stand up. For further developments, we will continue to monitor the situation.
