Trump vows: Ukraine-Russia conflict to end 'soon,' ushering in unprecedented prosperity for U.S.

President Donald Trump stated that the conflict between Russia and Ukraine would "soon" come to an end. He reiterated that this war was among the most complex he has handled.

"In fact, it is this war that has driven up diesel prices, but all of this will soon be over," Trump said at a rally in North Carolina.

He added that, following the conclusion of the conflict, the United States would become a nation unlike any seen before. "We are creating more jobs and building more factories than at any time in our nation's history. It will be very good," he said.

On September 14, the U.S. president stated that Moscow and Kyiv had committed to refraining from attacks on energy infrastructure. The Kremlin described the president’s proposal as "a good idea."
