Ali Baqeri, Deputy Head of Iran's National Security Council, said during his meeting with Alexander Venediktov, Deputy Secretary of the Russian Federation Security Council, that Russia’s prudent position on vetoing the U.S.-proposed draft resolution at the UN Security Council demonstrates Moscow’s role as a guarantor of security.
