Foreign media: Postal services in Europe and India have suspended the transportation of some packages to the United States due to the uncertainty of Trump's tariff policies.

Postal services in Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and Italy have immediately stopped sending most goods packages, while France and Austria will follow on August 25, and the UK will start from August 27. According to a presidential order signed by Trump last month, international goods valued below $800 will no longer be exempt from U.S. tariffs starting August 29, but small packages valued below $100 will still be tax-free. The trade framework reached between the EU and the U.S. last month also stipulates that most products shipped from the EU to the U.S. will be subject to a 15% tariff.

The reason European postal services have suspended the transport is that they cannot ensure that the goods will enter the U.S. before August 29, and there is ambiguity regarding the scope of application and handling procedures of the new rules.
