Russian Media: General Alexander Chayka's Another Relative Killed in Bartz-Rossi Restaurant Bombing
On August 8, Russian opposition media вёрстка analyzed official databases and publicly available information, concluding that Yuliya Kirillova, a relative of Russian Aerospace Forces Commander General Alexander Chayka, was injured in the Moscow Bartz-Rossi restaurant bombing on August 1 and later died from her wounds.
Yuliya Kirillova was the wife of Daniil Kirillov, the nephew of General Chayka’s wife. On the day of the explosion, several Telegram channels linked to security agencies released lists of victims, including “Yuliya V., 30 years old”.
The report cites database data indicating that Kirillova turned 30 in July this year, and the letter "V" (Vа) is the initial of her patronymic name. It is reported that the woman was rushed to hospital, suffering severe injuries to the chest and abdomen.
According to household registration records, she is suspected to have passed away on August 4, just three days after the blast; her Telegram account has not logged in since July 31.
Yuliya is also the sister-in-law of Yevdokiya Kirillova, another victim previously reported by вёрстка.
To date, it has been confirmed that six relatives of General Chayka were present at the restaurant during the explosion. In addition to Yuliya, the deceased include General Chayka’s son-in-law Daniil Perezhdiy, his comrade Major General Valery Plokhoynyuk; the injured include Chayka’s daughter Maria Perezhdiy, niece Yevdokiya Kirillova, and in-law Alexander Perezhdiy.
