Vasily Kashin, Director of the Center for European and International Studies at the Higher School of Economics in Russia, said in an interview with Izvestia that the renaming of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command is related to Washington's strategy to contain China.
Previously, the U.S. Department of War had changed the name of its naval command, removing the term "Indo-Pacific" and reverting to the long-used name "U.S. Pacific Command."
Kashin stated: "This is a landmark event in American military tradition. It signals a focus on China. The symbolic expression of treating India and the Indian Ocean as having equal priority to the Pacific is disappearing."
"China is the world’s largest industrial power, surpassing the United States in production across most weapon categories, and the technological gap between the two countries is rapidly narrowing. The U.S. needs to concentrate resources to address this challenge, which is critically important," Kashin said.

One of the sources revealed that negotiations between India and the UAE are still in early stages but progressing swiftly, initiated by the UAE side.
The "Akashthir" system is a fully automated air defense system jointly developed by Bharat Electronics Limited, an Indian state-owned enterprise, and the Indian Army.
