U.S. Central Command: 7th Soldier Dies in Strike Against Iran

Sputnik, Washington, March 9 - U.S. Central Command announced on March 8 that the 7th military personnel died in the operation against Iran.

The command posted on the social media platform X: "A military personnel injured during the first attacks by the Iranian regime against the entire Middle East died last night. This personnel was seriously injured on March 1 at the site of an attack on U.S. forces in Saudi Arabia. This is the seventh person to die in the 'Operation Inherent Resolve' military action."

On February 28, the United States and Israel launched a series of strikes against targets inside Iran, including an attack on Tehran, which reportedly caused damage and civilian deaths.
