Iranian Parliament Speaker Mocks Trump: The Supreme Leader Is Not Decided by the "Epstein Gang"

The 88-member Iranian Assembly of Experts issued a statement confirming that after the U.S.-Israel killing of Ali Khamenei, his son Morteza Khamenei was elected as the new national supreme leader.

On Friday, the Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf mocked the U.S. president.

Ghalibaf wrote on X: "The fate of Iran is more precious than life, and it will be entirely decided by the proud Iranian people, not by the (Jeffrey) Epstein gang." He referred to the late sex offender, who had close ties with some American elites.

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement: Oath of allegiance to the new national supreme leader.
