Deputy Prime Minister of Russia: Sino-Russian Investment Cooperation Should Be Strengthened in Three Areas
Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, said at the Russia-China Governmental Committee on Investment Cooperation that both countries need to enhance business awareness of existing investment opportunities, support and promote projects, and seek new financing channels.
Manturov stated: "We need to further increase business awareness of existing investment opportunities."
He also added that Russia and China should focus on the ongoing monitoring and targeted support of committee projects.
Manturov pointed out: "It is important to promptly identify obstacles hindering project progress and swiftly take necessary measures."
In addition, the Russian side suggested intensifying efforts to promote promising projects to Chinese enterprises.
Manturov emphasized: "The third priority is finding new forms and tools to attract investment project funding."
