Siemens Mobility has officially entered into a comprehensive strategic partnership with VinSpeed High-Speed Railway Investment and Development Joint Stock Company of Vietnam, working together to advance Vietnam's first high-speed railway project, marking a key step in the country's modern transportation infrastructure development. According to the agreement, VinSpeed, under Vingroup, will collaborate with Siemens Mobility to develop two high-speed rail lines, namely Hanoi to Quang Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City Binh Thanh to Cau Gie. Siemens Mobility will serve as a technology partner, responsible for the design and integration of core systems such as Velaro Novo high-speed trains, signaling, communication, and electrification, and will explore the provision of long-term maintenance services. Both parties stated that this collaboration aims to enhance national connectivity, transportation efficiency, and sustainability, while supporting Vietnam's economic development and improving the quality of life for its people.
