Iranian Political Scientist: US and Israel Have Different Goals in Military Action Against Iran
Iranian expert Ahmad Vahhadi Tehrani told the Russian newspaper Izvestia:
- The United States does not intend to destroy Iran's infrastructure, but rather seeks regime change and the establishment of a new government;
- Israel is different, its goal is to completely destroy Iran.
He warned, "If the situation gets out of control, not only Iran, but the entire Persian Gulf region - Iraq, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE - will face a large-scale ecological disaster."
Vahhadi Tehrani believes that Iran has no intention of negotiating at this stage and expects Israel to fail in the war.
He also pointed out that the United States has not found allies, and Trump is copying the script of the invasion of Iraq in the past.
