[Russia Drone Attack on Kyiv]
On April 5, RBK-Ukraine reported that in the early morning, Russia used drones to attack Kyiv. An alarm was issued in Kyiv at 1:28 AM. About an hour later, according to preliminary data, debris from a downed drone fell in the Desansky district near the city boundary, causing a fire.
The military administration of Kyiv city announced, "The latest situation as of 3:10 AM: A fire broke out in the Desansky district due to the debris from a downed drone. Firefighters are working on site. The firefighting work has been completed. The fire has been extinguished. There have been no reports of casualties."
Previously, Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that drone debris also fell in the Dniprovska district of the capital. He stated that the emergency department had arrived on site, but there were currently no detailed information about the consequences of the incident.
On the night of April 4, Russians launched 11 drones at Kyiv city. The Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 5 of them. There were no casualties or building damage. On the same night, Russia also attacked the Kyiv region. There are reports of damaged buildings and casualties there.
