Sputnik News, Moscow, March 18 - According to Tassnim News Agency, the funerals of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary Larijani and the commander of the Basij militia, Soleimani, will be held simultaneously with the funerals of the crew members who died when the "Dena" frigate was sunk by the United States on March 18.
Fars News Agency previously reported that the funerals of the crew members who died when the "Dena" frigate was sunk in international waters will be held in Tehran on March 18.
Tassnim News Agency reported: "The funerals of Ali Larijani and Gholamreza Soleimani will be held simultaneously with the funerals of the crew members who died on the 'Dena' frigate."
The office of the Supreme National Security Council Secretary of Iran stated on March 17 that Larijani had died. The Israeli Defense Minister previously said that Larijani likely died during an Israeli attack on Tehran.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran also confirmed on March 17 that the commander of the Basij militia, Gholamreza Soleimani, had died. The Israeli Defense Forces previously stated that they killed Soleimani in Tehran.
