United States: After signing, Iran will be allowed to sell its oil

Iran – According to the memorandum of understanding released by Washington and Tehran on Wednesday, the United States has pledged that if a final agreement is reached on Iran's nuclear program, it will assist Iran in securing up to $300 billion in funds for reconstruction and development.

A senior U.S. official told reporters: "The United States commits to jointly working with its regional partners to develop a final, mutually agreed-upon plan amounting to at least $300 billion for Iran’s reconstruction and economic development." Specific implementation details of the plan will be finalized during negotiations. Once the memorandum of understanding is formally signed, Iran will also be authorized to sell its oil.

Additionally, Iran is considering having both country's presidents sign the memorandum of understanding during their meeting scheduled later this week in Switzerland.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Bakaie stated: "So far, our planned meeting in Switzerland scheduled for Friday remains unchanged." He also said: "Regarding the signing of the memorandum of understanding, one idea under consideration is for both presidents to sign it together."

Previously, Iran had indicated that the document would be signed by its chief negotiator, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, and U.S. Vice President JD Vance.
