The Economic Times, Express Tribune, November 2 report, a nationalist organization in Sindh province of Pakistan is planning to hold demonstrations to protest against the illegal persecution of Sindh nationalists by law enforcement agencies. It is reported that the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Pakistan recently arrested two men on the grounds of "having links with a terrorist nationalist organization", which has been called "forced disappearance" by the Sindh Movement-Riaz faction (JSM-R). To express protest, JSM-R plans to hold a large sit-in protest on the Hyderabad Ring Road, which connects the M9 highway and the national highway, possibly causing traffic disruption between Karachi and Hyderabad. Despite JSM-R chairman Riaz (Riaz Ali Chandio) stating that the two arrested individuals have appeared in court, the protest will still proceed. Riaz stated that the ruling Pakistan People's Party (PPP) in Sindh province has mismanagement and tolerates corruption, leading to the continuous deterioration of the situation in the province, lack of rule of law, systematic suppression of nationalist voices, and protection of criminals. Analysts point out that the deepening human rights crisis is fueling the anger of Sindh people, and this round of protests highlights the growing differences between Sindh nationalist groups and the government.
