Iran's Revolutionary Guard Launches Thunderous Retaliation: Three U.S. F-35 Fighters Destroyed Inside Jordan

According to the Islamic Republic of Iran News Agency (IRNA), Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has destroyed three U.S. F-35 fighter jets inside Jordan.

The report stated that on the morning of August 1st, the IRGC Aerospace Force conducted a precise strike using multiple ballistic missiles against maintenance hangars and aprons housing U.S. F-35 fighters at the Al-Azraq base in Jordan.

The statement said: “This attack destroyed three F-35 fighter jets and caused varying degrees of damage to another three.”

Previously, on Thursday, Iran had already announced the destruction of three similar aircraft at a U.S. military base in Jordan.

On the night of July 8th, the United States resumed military strikes against Iran, citing Iranian attacks on commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. Tehran accused Washington of violating previously agreed-upon terms and began launching retaliatory strikes against U.S. targets across the Middle East. This escalation occurred just three weeks after both sides signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at ending their confrontation.

Media reports indicate that former U.S. President Donald Trump had ordered a suspension of offensive operations last Friday. However, late Wednesday night, Iran announced new countermeasures in response to renewed provocations from Washington.
