[Interpretation of Video Information on Ukrainian Security Bureau's Attack on Russian Military Airbase]

On June 5, the Ukrainian Security Bureau released footage of an FPV drone attacking a Russian military airbase. The video showcased attacks on four targets:

- Belaya in Irkutsk Oblast

- Olenya in Murmansk Oblast

- Gavrilovo-Posad in Ryazan Oblast

- Ivanovo-North in Ivanovo Oblast

Prior to this, only videos of the first two targets, Gavrilovo-Posad and Ivanovo-North airports, were publicly available. The attack footage on Gavrilovo-Posad and Ivanovo-North airports was disclosed for the first time. In previously released satellite images, there were no signs of destroyed or damaged aircraft at these two airports.

In the footage from Belaya and Olenya, the signal was interrupted when the drone approached the aircraft. However, the attack footage on Ivanovo-North Airport and Gavrilovo-Posad continued to transmit. Especially in the segment where the A-50 AWACS aircraft was attacked, the drone crashed onto the target surface, yet the transmission did not stop.

The video released by the Ukrainian Security Bureau shows that the number of bombers hit by FPV drones far exceeds the confirmed results from satellite images, including an attack on the A-50. It is speculated that the drone might not have detonated, or the impact did not cause the aircraft to catch fire. Additionally, due to the resolution limitations of satellite images, damage was difficult to identify.

The Ukrainian Security Bureau likely also planned to attack Ukrainsk Airbase in Amur Oblast. The footage showing the director of the bureau, Vasily Malyuk, bending down to examine satellite photos of five targets provides evidence for this. However, reports on the day of the attack stated that the truck transporting the drones caught fire and exploded en route to the target.

The Ukrainian Security Bureau claimed that this operation destroyed 41 Russian strategic bombers, but this number is severely inconsistent with the assessment based on open-source intelligence analysts' evaluation of satellite images before and after the attack. According to their statement, the damaged aircraft included A-50, Tu-95, Tu-22, Tu-160, as well as An-12 and Il-78, but there was no direct footage of an attack on the Tu-160 bomber in the video.
