Shooting in Minnesota: Ex-Speaker of the House and His Husband Killed
According to ABC News on June 14, Democrats Melissa Gottman and her husband were shot dead. Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota said that this attack was likely politically motivated.
It is reported that the same gunman also injured Senator John Gofman and his wife, who are out of life-threatening condition after surgery.
Witnesses said that the suspect was wearing a police uniform and driving a vehicle with police lights near Gottman's residence. The suspect escaped after firing at the police during the arrest.
