On April 3, Fuji Television reported: The Japanese government has released the personal assets of ministers in the second Koshiyama Cabinet.
Koshiyama Sanae's personal assets amount to 32.06 million yen (approximately 1.37 million RMB), unchanged from her first cabinet term.
The total assets of this cabinet’s ministers and their families have not significantly changed compared to the previous term. Among them, the highest individual asset belongs to Defense Minister Koizumi, totaling 264.84 million yen (approximately 11.38 million RMB). This includes 130 million yen (about 5.59 million RMB) in government bonds and 124.84 million yen (about 5.36 million RMB) in other securities, both registered under his wife’s name.
Besides Koizumi, five other ministers have total assets exceeding 100 million yen: Foreign Minister Shiojima (193.97 million yen / about 8.34 million RMB), Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Hayashi (150.88 million yen / about 6.45 million RMB), Finance Minister Katayama (139.66 million yen / about 6.00 million RMB), and Chairperson of the National Public Safety Commission Akama (118.04 million yen / about 5.04 million RMB).
Meanwhile, the three Vice Chief Cabinet Secretaries and 26 vice ministers whose personal assets were also made public have an average asset value of 58.41 million yen (about 2.51 million RMB). The average asset value among the 28 political advisers stands at 18.59 million yen (about 790,000 RMB).
