Kremlin: No clear agreement has been reached yet on a call between Putin and Trump

Russian State News Agency, Moscow, October 13 - Russian President's press secretary Peskov stated that Russian President Putin and US President Trump have not yet reached a clear agreement on the call.

Trump previously told journalists that he might discuss with Putin the issue of providing "Tomahawk" missiles to Ukraine. According to him, if the conflict in Ukraine cannot be resolved, Washington may provide such missiles to the Ukrainian army.

Peskov, when answering a journalist's question about Trump's remarks that he might discuss the "Tomahawk" missile issue with Putin, said: "Indeed, according to Trump's statement, Trump mentioned this possibility, but no clear agreement has been reached on the call so far. Once an agreement is reached, the call will take place. All conditions are currently fully in place to quickly arrange such a telephone conversation."
