The new members of Mongolia's government have been officially appointed and sworn in

Mongol News Agency, Ulaanbaatar, April 4 — At a plenary session of the State Great Hural, the list of government members proposed by Prime Minister N. Uchirpurev was reviewed. Subsequently, the Prime Minister formally appointed and confirmed the government members in accordance with the powers granted by the Constitution and the Government Law.

In appointing the government members, the Prime Minister emphasized that the country is currently facing a special period marked by interrupted fuel and oil supplies, sharp price increases, worsening shortages, and persistently rising inflation and cost-of-living pressures. Many countries around the world have already entered emergency states. Under these circumstances, the appointment of government members is not merely an administrative arrangement but a crucial strategic move to confront real challenges and shoulder national responsibilities.

He stressed that the responsibility associated with the ministerial position far exceeds its authority. Ministers carry high duties, responsibilities, and trust; they must face difficulties head-on, overcome obstacles, work with greater speed and courage, and take full accountability for resolving problems. At the same time, he urged all ministers to fully leverage their knowledge and experience in carrying out their duties, lead development in their respective sectors, strictly adhere to integrity in governance, and eliminate corruption and conflicts of interest. The Prime Minister also stated that he would rigorously uphold professional ethics and work responsibilities, and warned ministers that they must act patriotically, collaborate closely, and conduct their work decisively and firmly.
