Foreign media: Tesla's competitors in China, XPeng, Xiaomi, and Nio reported record electric vehicle deliveries in September 2025. XPeng delivered 41,581 electric vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 94.7%, achieving record deliveries for three consecutive months.

Xiaomi broke through 40,000 units in monthly deliveries for the first time, with its first electric vehicle SU7 selling more than the Tesla Model 3. Nio delivered 34,749 units, a year-on-year increase of 64.1%, with its new model driving demand growth. Li Auto's deliveries increased by 19% month-on-month but fell by 36.8% year-on-year, showing poor performance. BYD sold 396,270 units in September, a year-on-year decrease of 5.5%, but remains the world's largest electric vehicle manufacturer.

Tesla China's registration volume increased by 26.9% month-on-month in September but still declined year-on-year; global Q3 deliveries are expected to be between 470,000 and 495,000 units.
