The European Commission: Hungary and Slovakia Start Using Emergency Oil Reserves
RIA Novosti, Brussels, February 25th - A representative of the European Commission, Itkonen, stated that representatives of Hungary and Slovakia at a meeting of the European Commission on February 25th on issues of oil supply said that, in the context of Ukraine's interruption of oil transportation through the "Friendship" pipeline, the two countries have started using their emergency oil reserves.
Itkonen commented on the situation of Ukraine stopping oil transportation through the "Friendship" pipeline during a press conference in Brussels, saying: "Hungary and Slovakia have both confirmed that they have used their own oil reserves."
It is reported that the oil reserves of the two countries are sufficient for 90 days.
