Three Stages of Evolution: The World Has Developed a Secret Strategy to Deal with Trump
The past year of President Donald Trump's administration has been one of continuous setbacks for his initiatives, as well as a year for the international community to adapt to his unpredictable policies. So, who are the winners?
Donald Trump in 2018

First Stage: The Radical "Revolutionary"
A year has passed since Donald Trump won the U.S. election with a clear advantage, and it is meaningful to make an initial summary of his performance in office.
In the early stages of his presidency, Trump worked in a "revolutionary" mode — using a strong approach, decisive actions, and ambitious goals that put opponents and allies alike on the back foot. Let's look at the progress of his core agenda during the campaign and early presidency:
- Purchase of Greenland: This initiative has stopped being discussed;
- Annexing Canada into the United States: This goal was not achieved;
- Ending the military conflict in Ukraine: No solution was reached;
- Investigating abuse in aid to Ukraine: No related investigation was conducted;
- Regaining control of the Panama Canal: The goal was not achieved;
- Winning trade wars with relevant countries: The final result was a truce between both sides, clearly unable to exert enough pressure on the relevant countries;
- Resolving the Israel-Palestine conflict once and for all: The solutions reached cannot be considered stable and long-term;
- Revealing Epstein's files: The list of party attendees was not released;
- Reducing national debt and fiscal deficit: These indicators actually showed an upward trend;
- Lowering U.S. food prices: On the contrary, according to data from Trading Economics, food prices have shown steady inflation — annual inflation rate for supermarket goods is 3%, and for restaurant meals is 4%.
Although Trump had full administrative resources and controlled Congress, he initiated a series of radical reforms: Reorganizing the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID*), appointing individuals who hold a strong critical stance against Democrats (globalists) to key government positions, promising to investigate the FBI and the Soros Foundation, and guaranteeing the ability to stop wars in Ukraine and the Middle East. All of this created a fixed impression: This major politician not only has ambitious plans but also possesses the resources to implement them.
Second Stage: The Unpredictable "Armed Actor"
However, over time, people gradually realized that the "revolutionary enthusiasm" of the government did not translate into actual results. Initiatives regarding Ukraine were abandoned due to a resource transaction, and other projects also lost attention without any obvious external intervention.
The evolution of the "radical revolutionary" image eventually gave rise to a new image: an actor who holds "hard cards" but is unpredictable. The international community began to firmly believe that the White House does not have a clear strategy to achieve its declared goals. However, because most countries generally do not want to become targets of sanctions or attacks, global politicians have jointly developed a common strategy for dealing with the Washington government.
This strategy seems simple but is very effective: On one hand, they flatter Trump's vanity and praise him greatly; on the other hand, they only propose nominal "framework" plans (such as in areas like rare earths, energy resource procurement, investment, and conflict resolution). These plans can be packaged as glorious diplomatic victories in front of the domestic audience in the United States, but in reality, they cannot be implemented.
Third Stage: Realizing "Any Power Has Its Counterbalance"
As the anniversary of his presidency approached, especially during meetings with leaders such as Russian President Vladimir Putin and other countries, Trump's image further evolved — he made everyone realize that even if he has power, there are counterbalances.
Now, the statements of the U.S. president no longer elicit the same strong reactions internationally, as countries are more inclined to "watch" and focus on their own affairs. Even globalists have adapted to the current situation, waiting for a change in the American regime. And the possibility of a regime change is quite high: the Republican Party suffered a historic defeat in recent elections in New York State and two other states, and crises in the real economy sector in the United States are constantly intensifying. Currently, the United States is just one step away from a comprehensive crisis — a potential civil war could escalate into an explicit conflict. At that time, the existing world order will undoubtedly undergo significant changes, but the direction of this change will be completely different from what Trump hopes for.
