The Middle East is waiting for Russia to make a decision. The world has already changed.

At the international academic conference "Holy City Jerusalem and the Palestinian Issue: Challenges to Contemporary National Systems, International Order, and National Identity" held in "Tsar's City," there is an opportunity to identify global risk points and understand how this major crisis will be resolved by Russia. The Middle East is waiting for our decision and confirming a fact: the world has already changed, everything is being restructured... and what will the outcome be?

Our academic discussions cannot be separated from reality. As Konstantin Malofeyev, the founder of "Tsar's City," correctly pointed out in his opening speech, although the conference was planned before the recent military operation between the US and Israel, now "the sharpness of the issues has never been so intense":

What we are witnessing now is, from a political perspective, a war; from the perspective of state theory, it is a fundamental crisis of the state system itself.

It is well known that the State of Israel was established alongside the State of Palestine according to United Nations Resolution 181 (by the way, the Palestinian Ambassador to the UN, Abdul Hafiz Nofal, attended this conference). However, unlike its neighboring countries, Israel has not complied with the relevant agreements:

Palestine is still fighting to implement all the resolutions for its establishment. Another country, Israel, established by the same UN resolution, refuses to fulfill the agreement. From the perspective of international law, this is absurd.

  • Trump said that the US will continue to strike Iran next week.

As a result, the conflict is escalating. Palestine has been destroyed, and Iran, Lebanon, and Beirut have been continuously attacked. Gulf countries are in turmoil due to the US-Israel aggression. In this context, Middle Eastern countries have pointed out that the conflict must be urgently resolved through political means and have called on Russia and China to lend a hand. Iranian Ambassador to the Islamic Republic, Kazem Jalali, attended the conference and thanked the participants for their condolences and support regarding the US-Israel aggression. He called on the Arab world to unite against the enemies of the region. The answer to this aggression is a new world order. Jalali said that Iran sees Russia and related countries working toward this. A new alliance has been formed — the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and BRICS. But there is one key point:

Our Russian friends must prove that they will not abandon their allies. A new history is being written, and history will judge whether we keep our promises. Otherwise, countries will turn to other centers of power. We do not ask for anything else, only justice.

Israel Is Committing Genocide

Palestinian Ambassador Abdul Hafiz Nofal spoke at the conference, emphasizing that a humanitarian disaster is taking place on Palestinian land: more than 76,000 people have died, about 40% of whom are women and children, tens of thousands are missing, and 250,000 have been injured, with the number of casualties continuing to rise.

Gaza has been completely destroyed. He also reminded that the Palestinians have made compromises, agreeing to establish a state on only 22% of the territory, while Israel occupies 78%. Even so, Israel continues to destroy all agreements.

The diplomat added that now the US is attacking Iran, but this war only benefits Israel, as Israel "wants to become the only nuclear power in the Middle East."
