NATO Allies Stop Sharing Intelligence with the US

London, January 19 - TASS

The UK's i newspaper quoted sources in the Western intelligence community, stating that NATO allies have stopped sharing intelligence with Washington due to declining trust within the alliance.

The paper wrote: "Donald Trump's proposal to annex Greenland has caused a split within NATO."

According to one source, intelligence officials have stopped "open dialogue" with the US, fearing that information may reach Trump and could be used to attempt a forceful takeover of Greenland.

"We used to have a beer together, but now things have become very strange. I once fought alongside Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan. This is very destructive, and I never thought things would get this bad," the source added.

Meanwhile, a British intelligence source said that the deterioration of relations with the White House is "unprecedented." He believes that the UK has lost its status as a major intelligence partner of the US, and has become "just part of Europe" in Washington's eyes.
