Since his debut, Canadian superstar Justin Bieber has been hounded by paparazzi, and over the years he has had multiple conflicts with photographers. Now, he has publicly called for a change in this situation.

On Friday, Bieber posted a statement on Instagram, saying that he would not "leave Los Angeles" under external pressure.

"Everyone is telling me to move away from Los Angeles. Do you think I will leave the place where I need to have an impact just because of bullying?" Bieber wrote. "If we always run away from darkness, how can we bring about change?"

The lead singer of "Sorry" said that he was once troubled by Hollywood's "utilitarian essence."

"It's embarrassing, but as an adult with a wife and children, I just want to stay away from all of this now," Bieber wrote. "I just want to immerse myself in culture, learn from everyone, and become an advocate for love and equality."

Then, Bieber posted a picture of a lion and wrote: "Lion. I believe God is my lion, my powerful leader! He can fight for me. I believe he is with me wherever I am."

Bieber said he was praying to God for more patience, because sometimes it was really hard to control himself and not punch those bastards.

"Today, I forgive myself for my selfishness in the past and also forgive those who just wanted to exploit and hurt me - either to profit from me or out of jealousy, wanting to make me feel as small as they do." He wrote, "No matter what, I am being hit from all sides, but I won't see myself as a victim."

Bieber said that when he moved to Los Angeles, he already "knew it was bad."

"Can we unite and face up to how bad it really is here, then work together to change the situation? Or are these bastards going to keep treating me this way without any change in the law? People have died because of this before, and Princess Diana was the first person that came to mind, which is truly disappointing." Bieber wrote. "We really need to do better. Can we make a change?" he appealed at the end of his post.

Before this, on Thursday, Bieber had publicly pleaded with the paparazzi, hoping they wouldn't follow him in groups when he went out. He also shared a video shot from his perspective, recording the scene where he was surrounded by multiple photographers and flashes were constantly flashing when he walked toward the car, trying to let fans feel the pressure he faces every day.

Bieber wrote on Instagram: "This has to stop." In the video, you can hear him repeatedly exclaiming to the camera: "Look at these guys!"

His bodyguard also appeared in the video, shining a flashlight at the paparazzi and asking: "Are you done shooting? Get out of here!"

One month ago, Bieber had made a vulnerable statement on social media about self-worth and impostor syndrome, which caused concern among his fans.

Despite this, the concerns of Bieber's fans deepened after a video surfaced online showing him smoking near his 15-year-old brother Jaxon during Coachella Festival.

Bieber then posted on Instagram: "They treat me like trash here, but as long as I remember my own flaws and God forgives me, this can help me not feel superior to those who hurt me."

"To be honest, sometimes I can also be cruel and hurtful myself. My instinctive reaction is - 'Wow, I would never make up rumors online,' but I've done many disgraceful things, and God always forgives me." Bieber added, "Injured people hurt others. Honestly, if I were you, seeing me and Hailey so happy, it would be hard not to be jealous."

"This is really our life state, and I understand why some people cannot accept it. I don't blame them." He wrote.

Bieber's series of posts occurred after his team issued a statement clarifying unnecessary reports and wrong assumptions about him.

On April 16, The Hollywood Reporter published an article titled "Justin Bieber's Faith Crisis? Why Fans and Insiders Are Worried," in which a former team member claimed that Bieber owed millions of dollars in debt after canceling the Justice world tour in 2022.

Bieber's team responded: "This is a sensationalist foolish act based on some anonymous and obviously misinformed 'sources' who are disappointed that they can no longer work with Justin. As Justin charts his own path, such unnecessary stories and wrong assumptions will continue to appear. But this will not shake his determination to stick to the right path."

The report also mentioned rumors that Bieber owed AEG, the organizer of his tours, up to $20 million, and had pre-paid $40 million for his tours.

In response, Bieber's team said: "Any sources trying to sell you stories about Bieber's financial crisis either don't understand the entertainment industry or have ulterior motives to smear Justin. These contents are completely inconsistent with the facts."

In addition to financial issues, the report also mentioned concerns about Bieber's mental health among his fans.
