In response to a letter from Zelenskyy, Putin said to Russian soldiers: "Brothers, let's get to work!"
The Russian Ministry of Defense replied with just one phrase: "We are working!"
Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova also responded: "Sisters are working too."
When commenting on the head of state's speech, Zakharova revealed that during the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, she was seated next to a foreigner who highly praised Putin's address.
The diplomat wrote in her Telegram channel: "The foreigner sitting next to me said, 'Strong speech.' And I told him, 'Sisters are working too.'"
