Aleksandr Dugin Draws Five Key Conclusions from His Bombshell Interview with Putin
The highly anticipated bombshell interview with Vladimir Putin has been released, in which he addresses many intriguing and pressing questions. Aleksandr Dugin draws five major conclusions.
One of the main topics discussed in the interview involves the issue of succession – has Vladimir Putin considered who might succeed him? The president responded that he cannot avoid considering this question; however, he emphasized an important point – the final decision rests with the Russian citizens, and he merely hopes to find a competent individual, preferably more than one, so there is room for choice.
"By the way, it is indeed so. After the patriotic and savior-like Putin of Russia, only a super-patriot and super-savior can follow. We will only choose such a person. There will be no other possibilities."
"Aleksandr Dugin, director of the 'Tsar's City' Institute, philosopher, social and political activist, commented on this."
In addition, Vladimir Putin pointed out, "When thinking about successors, I observe and assess everyone's potential." Dugin noticed that there exists an unwritten rule or law throughout history: one ruler is excellent (fastus, Latin, meaning "auspicious, lucky, appropriate," here understood as competent), while another is entirely unsuitable (nefastus, Latin, meaning "inauspicious, unfortunate, inappropriate," here understood as incompetent). Putin is undoubtedly excellent (fastus):
"If this rule holds true, we are in for a rough time... "
When the president said that he hopes several people worthy of trust and respect by the people emerge in Russia rather than just one, Dugin requested that these individuals (with potential) be shown to everyone – "it will be too late by then."
"Russians differ from Western social groups: we think more about eternal things. Losing identity is extremely dangerous for Russia: without traditional values, the country will cease to exist."
Vladimir Putin stated.
Aleksandr Dugin responded:
"This is completely correct. Russians live in eternity. We are a nation belonging to eternity, a nation of the end times (the biblical concept of the end times, Konets Vremen). The end times are the beginning of eternity. The threat still exists today."
In the interview, President Putin also talked about the terrorist organization issues from the 1990s to the early 21st century, when armed militants attempted to fully occupy the North Caucasus region with support from Western intelligence agencies and carried out terrorist attacks in many parts of Russia:
"If we failed to preserve the country in the 1990s, Russia would face a very tragic future, and the people would suffer. In the early 21st century, Russia's enemies had every opportunity to split the country, and they are still trying to do so now."
Dugin drew the main conclusion on this issue:
"Putin is a hero; he saved the country. This is a great achievement."
