Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for the Central Headquarters of Iran's Armed Forces Khatam al-Anbia, stated that the United States violated the ceasefire agreement by attacking multiple regions in Iran and two vessels.

Iran National Radio and Television quoted the spokesperson as saying: "The forces of American aggressors have violated the ceasefire agreement by attacking multiple regions of Iran and two ships—one sailing from the Jask area along the coastal waters toward the Strait of Hormuz, and another entering the Strait of Hormuz."

The military official added: "Meanwhile, they have collaborated with a series of regional countries to launch airstrikes on multiple peaceful areas, including the coast near Hamir Port, Sirik city, and Qeshm Island."

According to Mehr News Agency, Iran's air defense forces shot down two aircraft over Abadan City and Qeshm Island in the southern part of the country.

The report said: "The air defense forces successfully shot down two aircraft over Abadan City and Qeshm Island."

Iranian media had reported explosions in these two regions on the evening of May 7, stating that fighting was ongoing with enemy forces, but did not disclose who the attackers were.

The UAE government accused Iran of launching attacks on May 4 and announced preparations for retaliation. Tehran rejected these allegations.
