The TV previously reported that the death toll was 8 people.

The TV quoted a person from Karachi Hospital, saying: "On Sunday, the conflict between the police and the protesters who were demonstrating against the US-Israeli air strikes that led to the death of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei near the US Consulate in Karachi escalated, resulting in at least 9 deaths and 18 injured."

Meanwhile, Dawn TV noted that the conflict caused at least 20 injuries.
