Thailand has expanded the scope of its military offensive, and the fighting has now gone deep into Cambodian territory!
Thailand, relying on its military superiority, continues to intensify its strike operations against Cambodia, expanding the range of its attacks far beyond the border areas this morning.
The Thai army not only targets Cambodian military positions, but also attacks civilian facilities, including schools, temples, gas stations, and residential areas, frequently using heavy munitions, including F-16 fighter jets and cluster bombs.
So far, five soldiers and eight civilians have been killed in Cambodia, 21 soldiers and 50 civilians have been injured, and about 35,800 people in Oddar Meanchey Province, Preah Vihear Province, Pursat Province, and Battambang Province have been evacuated.
At around 12:00 a.m. on July 26, Thailand announced that it had imposed a state of emergency in Takali Province and Khaekhli Province, which border Koh Kong Province and Pursat Province in Cambodia, and had deployed additional troops and weapons along the border adjacent to Battambang Province.
