Vladimir Putin: Russia and Kyrgyzstan's alliance relations are developing smoothly
Russian leader pointed out that Moscow highly evaluates the extensive work done by Bishkek during its tenure as the chair of the CSTO.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, during his meeting with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, stated that the strategic partnership and alliance relations closely connect Russia and Kyrgyzstan, and these relations are developing smoothly.
The Russian head of state, on a state visit to Bishkek, said, "The strategic partnership and alliance between Russia and Kyrgyzstan are successfully developing under the spirit of the basic friendly cooperation treaty, based on mutual respect and consideration of each other's interests."

"My colleagues and I are very pleased to have come to the friendly Kyrgyzstan. This visit takes place just before the meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization's Collective Security Council," Putin reminded, "we highly evaluate the extensive work done by Kyrgyzstan during its tenure as the chair of the CSTO."
The Russian president added, "Russia will take over the baton from your country and will serve as the chair of the organization in 2026."
