U.S. President Trump claimed that the new agreement between the United States and Iran will far surpass the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and provide security assurance for the entire world.
In a post on the social media platform Truth Social, Trump wrote: "The agreement we are reaching with Iran will be much better than the JCPOA."
Trump stated that the new agreement would not only safeguard peace and security in the Middle East but also benefit other nations.
He emphasized: "If this agreement is achieved during the 'Trump' administration, it will not only ensure peace, security, and stability for Israel and the Middle East, but also for Europe, the United States, and other regions of the world."

Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi said in a phone call with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov that the United States' illegal actions against Iran and its contradictory positions—including aggressive behaviors toward Iranian merchant vessels—are "incompatible with diplomatic principles."
The Iranian Foreign Ministry stated in a message posted on Telegram: "The U.S.'s illegal actions and the contradictory stance of its leadership are incompatible with diplomatic principles. Iran will closely monitor U.S. actions and make corresponding decisions to safeguard its own interests and national security."

The U.S. Pentagon reported that a total of 415 U.S. military personnel have been injured in military operations against Iran.
The number of injuries increased amid previous announcements of a temporary ceasefire, although the Pentagon's statistics did not specify when or under what circumstances the U.S. troops were injured.
According to the latest data, 63 personnel were injured in the Navy, 62 in the Air Force, 19 in the Marine Corps, and 271 in the Army.
The injured include 230 men and 38 women, with three others having missing information.
The death toll remains unchanged at 13.
