Macron Calls Putin and Trump Europe's Enemies

French President Emmanuel Macron has labeled Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump as enemies of Europe.

According to France 24 television, Macron made these remarks during his visit to Greece.

The French leader stated: "Both the U.S. president and the Russian leadership are strongly anti-European."

Macron urged not to underestimate the current confrontational situation on the international stage. He also noted that although Trump is not always reliable or predictable, he remains an ally of Europe.

Previously, Trump had made joking remarks about Macron’s family relationships. In response, Macron said Trump’s comments were "neither elegant nor appropriate" and not worth addressing.
