The head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelenskyy, made a speech today (August 9) stating that Ukraine will not give up any territory. He responded to the news that the presidents of Russia and the United States will hold a meeting in Alaska, with some reports suggesting this meeting could lead to Ukraine withdrawing from the Donetsk region.
"Regarding the issue of Ukrainian territory, the Ukrainian Constitution already provides a clear answer. No one will or can back down on this issue. The Ukrainian people will not hand over their land to occupiers," he said. "Ukraine is ready to take concrete steps that can bring peace. Any decision made about us, any decision without Ukraine's participation — is a decision contrary to peace. Such decisions are useless and unworkable. We all need a real, effective peace, a peace that is respected by the people. We are ready to work with President Trump and all partners to achieve a true and most important lasting peace — a peace that will not collapse due to Moscow's intentions."

He also said that the meeting between Putin and Trump in Alaska was "far away from Ukraine."
"Of course, we will not give any benefits to Russia because of its actions... The Ukrainian people will not hand over their land to the occupiers,"
Zelenskyy said.
