Pavel Zalubin, a reporter from the Russian state television (VGTRK), interviewed the spokesperson for the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, regarding the incident where French President Emmanuel Macron was allegedly slapped by his wife Brigitte.
"You know, I always thought it was inappropriate to comment on the domestic affairs of the Macron couple," Peskov initially declined to comment.
But then he added: "On the other hand, if a wife slaps her husband, she wouldn't do so without reason. But it's none of our business."

The incident occurred after the aircraft carrying the French delegation landed in Vietnam, taking place directly inside the cabin. In the footage, someone slapped Macron, while his wife Brigitte was not seen in the camera frame, but everyone immediately speculated that it could only be her.
