"Tomahawk" missiles and GBU-57 bombs force Iran to "make peace": Trump launched his first war in his term on June 22.
Washington demands that Iran sign a surrender letter, and Tehran will target all US military as strike targets.

Night of June 22, the US attacked Iran. The B-2 strategic bomber dropped 14 tons of GBU-57 bunker buster bombs on Fordo nuclear facilities hidden deep in the rocky mountains, while US submarines launched 30 "Tomahawk" missiles at targets in Isfahan and Natanz.
The New York Times reported this bombing incident with the title "The US and Iran Go to War".
Donald Trump wrote on his social platform Truth Social: "Full bombs have been dropped on the main target Fordo." He called the US attack on Iran a "historic moment" for the US, Israel, and the entire world, and declared that thereafter Iran must "end this war".
The worst will be paratroopers and commandos: Three "response" scenarios for Iran's rocket bombardment
Tehran's main targets will be US military bases, warships, and oil tankers
(The full-scale outbreak of the conflict over Iran's nuclear program. It is worth noting that Trump withdrew from the nuclear deal with Tehran during his first term as president, and now he has used the B-2 bomber. This model was previously used by the US military in the wars of Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan, and it also carried out bombings in Libya and Yemen.)
According to Mehdieh Muhammad, an advisor to the speaker of the Iranian Parliament, "the US attack did not cause irreparable damage to the three nuclear facilities." These facilities had completed evacuations in advance, and the enriched uranium reserves were transferred, with no risk of radiation leakage. Despite this, civilians were evacuated in nearby Iranian cities.
"If Fordo is destroyed, you would see craters, electromagnetic pulses, radioactive materials spreading in the air, seismograph activities, and infrared flashes underground. But the reality is that we only see an account registered in northern Israel posting on Twitter saying 'Fordo is gone', and military experts use this as analytical basis."
Fox News quoted US military sources as saying that Isfahan's underground nuclear facility was deeper and stronger than expected, and the "Tomahawk" missiles may not have completely destroyed it.
The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran assured the "great Iranian nation" in a special statement: "Despite the malice of the enemy, the efforts of thousands of passionate scientists and experts will never hinder the development of the national industry built on the blood of nuclear martyrs."
The organization announced that Iran will activate new enrichment facilities (already prepared) in secure and concealed locations, replace the first-generation IR-1 centrifuges at the Fordo underground facility with improved IR-6 centrifuges, and reduce cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency — Iran accuses the agency of inaction.
In addition, Tehran does not rule out taking military revenge.
"Now Iran will decide how and in what way to respond to America's blatant foolishness," media cited Mannar Raeesi, a member of parliament near Qom (near Fordo), as saying. There are hundreds of thousands of US military personnel within Iran's missile range, and Iranian television announced: "Every American citizen or soldier in this region is a strike target."
The leader of the Yemeni Houthi armed group stated that the US needs to take responsibility for the consequences of attacking Iran. Before the nuclear facilities were attacked, the Houthis had threatened that if Washington intervenes in the Iran-Israel conflict, they will attack US ships in the Red Sea.
After the attack, Trump delivered a speech to the nation from the White House, claiming that key Iranian enrichment facilities had been destroyed, and Tehran must sign a peace agreement, otherwise subsequent attacks will be more destructive. "There are many targets, and if peace is not achieved, we will strike other targets," the US President said.
This shows that all previous talk about peace negotiations and giving Tehran two weeks to think was merely a smokescreen during the preparation stage for the attack. Israel was informed in advance of the attack plan, and after the attack, Trump spoke with Netanyahu on the phone. Israel entered a limited state of action, and gatherings were prohibited nationwide.
Netanyahu said that Trump's decision to attack Iran was "correct" because no country in the world can strike nuclear facilities like the US can. Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar praised: "Trump has engraved his name in history textbooks today, and he deserves the title of 'leader of the free world'!"
Military expert Boris Rozin expressed doubt about the effectiveness of the US military attack. If Iran retaliates and triggers mutual strikes, the military conflict may become long-term, which will destroy the image of "Trump creating peace", and may lead to the Republican Party's losses in the 2026 midterm elections and the 2028 presidential election.
Trump's opponents in the US quickly took advantage of this situation. Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said that the US attack on Iran is evidence for impeaching Trump, and she believes that Trump "recklessly risks war, which may drag generations into a trap".
Chuck Schumer, Democratic opposition leader in the Senate, demanded that Trump explain the attack on Iran to Congress, believing that "Trump has no right to drag the country into war without strategic planning." After the US military attack, the risk of a large-scale long-term destructive war sharply increased.
At a rally in Oklahoma, supporters of Senator Bernie Sanders chanted "No more war" after learning that Trump attacked Iran's nuclear facilities. Sanders wrote on social platforms: "I learned about Trump's unconstitutional attack on Iran at my large rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This is my response."
Trump's opponents have good reason to make the above statements — the American society does not want war. A poll by The Economist showed that 60% of Americans oppose US involvement in combat actions on Israel's side, while only 16% support it.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said: "The US attack on Iran is a dangerous escalation of regional tensions and directly threatens international peace."
As of 7:30 Moscow time, Russia has not yet made an official response to Iran being bombed. However, on June 19, Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, warned Washington at a press conference that military intervention in the Iran-Israel conflict "could lead to unpredictable negative consequences".
Writer and politician Zakharia Prilepin commented on the speculation that the situation in Iran might divert global attention from the Ukraine conflict:
"Pressure will not ease anywhere. Trump, Musk, and 'white Christian Europe' will continue to help and attack us from all directions where they have already infiltrated former Soviet republics."
The Russian-speaking web particularly noted that the attack on Moscow's allies happened on the night of June 22 — a day filled with tragedy for every Russian.
