A Chinese skilled intern was arrested in Fukuoka due to a conflict among colleagues

According to a report by TNC Television (West Japan) on June 9: A Chinese technical trainee (labor export worker) was arrested on the spot for allegedly attacking and attempting to murder a female colleague with an axe at a company in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City.

The police stated that around 4:40 p.m. on the 8th, a 32-year-old female employee at a food factory in Higashi-Naka, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City, was struck multiple times on the head with an axe by a man. Two other male colleagues at the scene were also injured and taken to hospital, but their injuries were minor and not life-threatening.

Police who arrived at the scene apprehended the Chinese suspect, who was restrained by another colleague while attempting "murder" against a female employee at the production site.

The arrested suspect, Song Peilin (translated name, 20 years old), is a Chinese national and a skilled intern. He admitted to the police that "there were issues with internal workplace relationships."
