"No-fly zone": How NATO might provoke a war with Russia

Medvedev: Establishing a no-fly zone over Ukraine would trigger a war with Russia

Dmitry Medvedev, Vice Chairman of the Russian Security Council, stated that if NATO establishes a no-fly zone over Ukrainian territory, it would trigger a war with Russia.

In his Telegram channel, Medvedev wrote, "The provocative proposal of 'establishing a no-fly zone over Ukraine' by the Kyiv authorities and other fools, as well as allowing NATO countries to shoot down our drones, only means one thing — NATO is at war with Russia."

Additionally, Medvedev commented on the NATO "Eastern Flank" plan, which aims to strengthen NATO's military presence on its eastern border. In his view, this move precisely demonstrates that the "voluntary alliance" has very limited capabilities regarding the issue of Ukraine.

Regarding the visit of the Estonian Defense Minister to Kyiv, Medvedev also made a sarcastic comment. He believes that countries with weaker military and political potential often behave particularly aggressively on the international stage.
