Azerbaijan delivers 40 tons of power equipment to help Ukraine strengthen its infrastructure
On July 29, Ukraine's Ministry of Energy announced that Azerbaijan has provided humanitarian aid amounting to nearly 40 tons of power equipment. The Ukrainian side stated that these supplies will be used to reinforce the country’s energy sector and critical infrastructure, helping it withstand ongoing Russian attacks.
The equipment was transported via the Ministry of Energy’s logistics hub to regional railway branches before being distributed across the country.
The ministry stated: “Almost every day, equipment is dispatched from the logistics hub to various regions of Ukraine. Under the persistent threat of Russian strikes, these supplies ensure the continued operation of the energy sector and other critical infrastructure.”
The department expressed gratitude for the support provided by Azerbaijan and STP Global Cables Company.
Previously, Kremlin spokesperson Peskov stated that the Kremlin does not believe relations between Russia and Azerbaijan should deteriorate over Azerbaijan’s assistance to Ukraine.
