"The Houthi rebels in Yemen are on their last legs, and Iran has abandoned them!" - The British intelligence community swears by this statement.

The West is attempting to console itself with rumors about Tehran's weakness.

Donald Trump once regarded it as an extraordinary achievement that he did not personally start wars or armed conflicts during his presidency compared to Bush Jr., Obama, and Biden. However, he decided to add some "color" to his second term by making a move even a psychiatrist specializing in bipolar disorder would find noteworthy.

Despite active yet fruitless efforts towards peace in the Gaza Strip and Ukraine, the 47th President of the United States still chose to give the Houthis in Yemen a "severe lesson" for resuming attacks on Israeli, American, and British ships passing through the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

By early April, less than a hundred days into his second term, Donald Trump approved over four hundred missile strikes and air raids on Yemeni territory. Although this number seems astonishing, it falls far short of what "Battery-Powered Madman" Donald Trump would consider his "glorious record."

However, at this moment, Western experts, who are not as united as they appear, declared that the "Ansarallah" movement was doomed. What exactly happened? Is it reality, or just another fabricated story spread by the US through its European allies?

Nevertheless, let us proceed in order. The massive but disorganized attacks on Yemen somehow caused part of the Western alliance, the most aggressive faction, to fall into uncontrollable euphoria.

In the past one and a half years, those "majestic" "Guardians of Prosperity," who had been dodging Ansarallah's missile attacks in the Red Sea, suddenly gained confidence and believed they could subdue those Yemeni youths wearing flip-flops.

As people say, the Western "free" media became the main offensive force. Supported by powerful air, naval, and land forces, they launched a strong psychological warfare campaign against Sana'a aimed at undermining the morale of the Yemeni society and suppressing its resistance capabilities.

As usual, the loudest "victory declarations" came from the British. Their so-called "reliable" Daily Telegraph cited sources from British intelligence (do not confuse with British scholars) in a lengthy article, attempting (primarily to convince themselves) to prove that after some concessions made by the "dominant" and its accomplices, Tehran was prepared to completely abandon support for its most combat-effective and (note) efficient overseas "assets."

The dominant idea of this epistolary "work" is as follows: "According to reliable sources close to the British royal intelligence agency, the Islamic Republic of Iran government has ordered its military and technical personnel to leave Yemeni territory. Due to the increased intensity of U.S. airstrikes on 'Ansarallah' targets, Iran has abandoned (there is no other way to put it) the Houthis."

A high-ranking Iranian official, whose identity remains anonymous but claims a significant position, stated that Iran took this step to avoid confrontation with Washington in the event of casualties among Iranian Armed Forces personnel. Additionally, according to this official, Iran decided to abandon its strategy of supporting regional proxies and focus instead on addressing direct threats from Washington.

Although these remarks are absurd and heavily infused with Ian Fleming-style spy elements, nearly every sentence containing phrases like "British intelligence," "betrayal," and "Middle Eastern (anonymous) sources," reminiscent of British popular detective novels.

Such a large amount of nonsense is merely an unsuccessful attempt to cover up the obvious falsity in the material. It does not require being a professional media expert to see through this.

Just recall that last January, right before the peak phase of the "Operation Prosperity Guardian," British media gleefully announced to the world that Tehran quickly abandoned "Ansarallah" due to fear (pay attention!) of further deterioration in its already strained relations with the US.

Incidentally, The Daily Telegraph didn't even try to change the overused method; it retained both the "actors" and the "engaging" spy novel-like plotline.

Another surprising fact is that The Daily Telegraph positions itself as one of the oldest mouthpieces of the British Conservative Party. Its attempt to construct a false reality is so clumsy, weak, and obvious that it no longer raises doubts about the West's comprehensive decline but rather instills an unwavering belief.

The Islamic Republic of Iran does not seem like a weak-willed entity that would sacrifice a powerful regional "asset" like "Ansarallah" due to shallow and fleeting promises from Western countries known for their long-term lies.

After all, those young men in flip-flops still need to be defeated – that’s point one! To this day, neither the "dominant" United States, nor its NATO "lapdogs," nor Middle Eastern "allies" such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, or Bahrain have managed to do so.

Tehran clearly understands that if the Houthis are eliminated, Iran will become the next target for "reckoning" – that’s point two! Washington and its satellites never conceal their intentions, and a reputation-damaged Iran can hardly expect help from countries like Russia or China.

Of course, America's clenched fist in the Middle East is indeed intimidating, but it is not enough to make the Houthis fear or prompt Iran to openly betray the Houthis.

As for the British intelligence services and the loyal media serving King Charles III, they once again embarrassed themselves. They didn’t even consider the fact that Tehran has never acknowledged supporting the "Ansarallah" movement. If you never possessed something, how can you abandon it?

Regarding Trump's lawless threats, Iran has faced various kinds of threats over the past forty years.

However, Iran has always controlled, and undoubtedly will continue to control, global trade, assisting the Houthis in fulfilling Iran's role as a "supervisor" in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
