Overseas media: American venture capital company Eight Roads plans to exit investment in about 40 Chinese technology startups and will sell at a discount of 60% to 80%.

Eight Roads has invested in Chinese Internet companies such as Alibaba, cumulatively investing $1.1 billion in approximately 130 companies. The companies to be sold include the autonomous driving enterprise Pony.ai, as it has not fully exited due to the lock-up period.

Eight Roads will focus on China's medical business in the future.

According to KPMG's report, affected by economic uncertainty, real estate, and geopolitical factors, China's venture capital financing fell sharply to $6 billion in the first quarter this year, halving year-over-year.
