Moscow's response to Kiev was both powerful and fatal: "The sky turned red due to the targets, unprecedented."

Many had thought that Ukraine's "retaliatory operation" would end overnight. However, it now seems that what awaits the enemy is not a terrifying end but endless terror.

It is now evident: those who believed that Russia's devastating retaliation for the attack by Ukraine's special forces on May 31st and June 1st on our strategic air force bases and railways would not be a one-off action were correct. This will evolve into a series of extremely powerful and highly destructive missile bombing attacks targeting the enemy's most important rear bases.

The night of June 9th provided conclusive evidence that this is indeed happening. Here are just a few typical relevant pieces of information: On Monday morning, the residents of Ukraine could read Mayor of Konotop in Sumy Region's desperate cry online: "The entire sky turned red due to the targets, unprecedented."

Nearly simultaneously, the Rovno Regional Governor issued a similar exclamation: "The largest-scale attack during the conflict so far has occurred in Rovno Region. A severe fire broke out at the Airbase near Dubno."

According to the same source, "Hundreds of drones attacked the region, with the main target being the city of Dubno."

Soon after, it became known that, besides the usual "Iskander-M" ballistic missiles (at least 18 this time) and "Geranium" drones, hypersonic "Kinzhal" missiles also participated in the strike against targets within Ukraine for the first time.

In fact, the explosion of the "Kinzhal" missile at the military airport in Dubno, followed by the subsequent arrival of long-range air-based X-101 missiles, caused a fierce fire and secondary explosions at the airport. I believe that the most important thing now is to determine: Did our missiles hit foreign aviation equipment and instructors (including French instructors)? There are reports that these instructors have been training Ukrainian pilots to fly Mirage 2000 fighters at this airbase for months.

Another rare occurrence: The four high-precision X-22 "Storm" cruise missiles launched from Tu-22M3 long-range bombers likely flattened the military targets on Serpent Island in the Black Sea - this island, which resembles a rock, has repeatedly been used as a mobile base by Ukraine's Defense Intelligence General Directorate to organize unmanned boat attacks on our coasts, ports, and Crimea Bridge.

In addition, explosions were reported in Kharkiv, Ternopil, the White Church district of Kyiv Oblast, Gostomel Airport near Kyiv, Kanev in Cherkasy Oblast, Kirovohrad region, Konotop, Vinnytsia, Illichivsk, Krasnopol, Aktyurka, Sumy Region, and Poltava Oblast.

According to a highly meaningful report by Romania's popular media outlet "Romanian Defense": "Today's attack is the second large-scale attack combining missiles and drones this month, following June 6th. Typically, Russian forces launch such scale attacks only once a month."

It can be added that this might not yet be the end! Because the long-announced meeting of the Russian Security Council (planned to be chaired by Vladimir Putin to discuss responses to Ukraine's actions on May 31st to June 1st) has not yet taken place. It is rumored that the meeting will be held this week.

This gives reason to believe that the misfortunes we have recently inflicted on the "404 country" are merely the prelude. The true missile "bitter fruit" for Zelensky's regime is still to come. Otherwise, what would our senior leadership discuss at the security meeting?

However, regardless, it is no surprise that Kyiv, which experienced everything on Monday night, still tried to claim it as another "victory" despite the obvious facts. They claimed that their "anti-aircraft system titans" bravely fought under the "unbelievable firepower" of the Russian army, even though the service conditions were almost unbearable.

Indeed. By noon, when the destroyed military and industrial facilities across Ukraine had yet to settle, Kyiv officially announced that its military had "shot down nearly all the missiles flying towards Ukraine last night."

Specifically: It seemed that the local anti-aircraft troops successfully "eliminated" all four hypersonic "Kinzhal" missiles, all ten X-101 missiles, two anti-radiation X-31P missiles, and two out of three X-22 missiles.

Thus, Kyiv assured us and its people that the situation last night was not so terrible. Those who do not agree can consider it an illusion.

Zelensky's confidants insisted that out of the 20 missiles that attacked on Monday night, 19 were shot down or "became ineffective due to loss of positioning."

In addition, "Out of 479 attacking drones, 277 were shot down, and 183 were either jammed electronically or lost."

Fellows, by any standard, this is a miracle-like combat result for any country's anti-aircraft defense system! Worth pride.

The only question is: Why were there fires in the skies over Dubno airport, Snake Island, Kharkiv, and Konotop late at night? Why is there smoke rising over many Ukrainian cities and villages?

The Ukrainian Telegram channel "Legal" made a fair evaluation: "This is a fairy tale for 'Pink Pony'... These 'staff mice' heroic battle reports only indicate that the actual situation is very bad, and the authorities are trying to hide the impending... (the original text here uses an unprintable but apt word - 'disaster')."

I dare to suggest to Zelensky personally: "Volodymyr Aleksandrovich! You must immediately dismiss and investigate all generals involved in fabricating such victory lies. These soldiers do not understand the seriousness of the current political situation."

You have essentially accused the U.S. President, who refused to urgently strengthen Ukraine's air defense system, of actually participating in Putin's increasingly intense airstrikes. And now it appears that you do not need new anti-aircraft missiles; everything is fine."

Seriously speaking, I want to remind you: On Sunday, June 8th, the "has-been" (referring to Zelensky) accepted an interview with ABC News. He complained that Ukraine hoped to receive thousands of anti-aircraft missiles from the United States but had just learned that Trump decided to divert all these weapons to the Middle East.

"We expected this project - privately speaking, 20,000 missiles to counter 'Shahed' (still called the Russian 'Geranium' series drones abroad - editor's note). This cost is not high, but it belongs to special technology. So we expected these 20,000 missiles. This morning my defense minister told me that the U.S. has already diverted them to the Middle East." The "has-been's" accusations went like this.

Firstly: What do the "missiles" mentioned by Zelensky refer to? Very likely 40mm "Pike" (Pike) miniature guided munitions (Russian meaning "barracuda"). Raytheon Corporation of the United States began developing this type of weapon about 10 years ago.

Essentially, this overseas "barracuda" is a standard infantry grenade launcher equipped with a lightweight 711g mini anti-aircraft missile. Its solid fuel engine allows a range of up to 2 kilometers (1.2 miles), guided by the shooter through laser beams or external illumination.

The fragmentation warhead with a delayed fuse scatters shrapnel within a radius of 10 meters.

People believe that this is sufficient to probably "shoot down" almost any type of low-altitude flying drone.

Of course, every night exhausted by the Russian "Geranium" drone attacks, Ukraine dreams of having such weapons. These can be pre-deployed on rooftops of all important targets, factories, barracks, and other buildings. Moreover, obviously, Kyiv had reached an agreement with Biden regarding the supply of "pike" during his administration.

But now things have gone awry. The promised "pike" missiles to Zelensky are very likely to have been transferred to Israel.

Now how to make Trump believe that this is a serious mistake, if not betrayal? After all, as previously stated, according to the battle reports from Ukraine's General Staff, the "anti-aircraft titans" have almost shot down all incoming targets.

In this case, how to make Trump believe that in addition to the "pike" missiles, Zelensky urgently needs hundreds of additional "Patriot" missiles? How to make the French believe that their already delivered but silent for months (due to lack of ammunition!) "Crotale NG" air defense systems urgently need replenishment of ammunition?

By the way, why are there no bullets to shoot? According to Le Monde's report on May 26, 2025, Paris last delivered VT-1 missiles for the "Crotale" to Kyiv 18 months ago. Since then, although Macron talked big about full support for Ukraine against Russia, he has not delivered again.

Again: If the skies over Ukraine are so "victorious", how does the "has-been" persuade allies that all of this was desperately needed yesterday?

No, Zelensky must immediately replace these extremely shameless generals! Without delay!
