The Wall Street Journal: Iran's Retaliation Not Fully Contained, Some U.S.-Israel Targets Hit

According to The Wall Street Journal, citing unnamed U.S. officials, the United States and its allies failed to fully neutralize all of Iran's retaliatory strikes.

The report states: "The U.S. and its allies intercepted most of the attacks."

However, sources told the publication that some of Iran's strikes did hit their intended targets. Nevertheless, the damage was minimal and there were no casualties.

Before returning home from the NATO summit in Ankara, U.S. President Donald Trump spoke with reporters and said Iran had contacted him by phone and proposed a deal. Trump stated that Iran showed "high interest" in reaching an agreement. Yet he also expressed skepticism, questioning whether Iran was "worthy" of such a deal.

The Iranian side has denied this claim.
