Iran Warns UAE: Will Strike American Targets Within Its Territory in Response to the Attack on Khark Island
The spokesperson of the Central Headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Ebrahim Zolfaghar, stated on the 14th that after the US attack on Khark Island, Iran has warned the UAE that it may strike American targets within its territory.
Previously, US President Donald Trump had threatened on Saturday that if navigation freedom in the Strait of Hormuz was blocked, he would strike Iran's Khark Island oil infrastructure.
The Tasnim News Agency cited a statement saying: "We have informed the UAE leadership that Iran considers it a legitimate right to strike American missile launch sites in UAE shipping ports, as well as American military personnel's deployment points and hideouts in multiple cities in the UAE, in order to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity."
Zolfaghar also pointed out that not only Khark Island but also Abu Musa Island suffered from American attacks, and called on UAE residents to leave the port areas and locations where US forces might be stationed.
