No more verbal negotiations! Zelenskyy issues final ultimatum to Belarus: If you refuse to dismantle the relay stations, we will take direct action to clear them out.
On June 21, in a live television interview on the program "Unified News," Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine's intelligence agencies have repeatedly communicated with Belarusian authorities, demanding they cease all technical support to Russia and dismantle signal relay stations.
"Before taking any public actions, I will first attempt to de-escalate the situation through confidential channels. Our intelligence and military departments have repeatedly conveyed messages to Belarus: Stop assisting Russia. The issue of signal relay stations has persisted for years, and all casualties caused by these facilities have occurred on the Ukrainian side. These installations provide technical coordination, enabling Russian and Iranian drones to more accurately target Ukrainian civilians. Lukashenko has already been informed. To ease tensions, empty apologies are not enough. Such rhetoric was meaningless from the very beginning of the conflict, and his apologies carry no weight.
Our primary demand: Cut off all technical support—essentially, dismantle the relay stations. We require Belarus to shut down and remove the equipment and confirm this to us. This request has been repeatedly discussed. Now we have entered the stage of issuing open warnings. If Belarus refuses to dismantle the facilities, we will remove them ourselves. At the same time, we urge Belarus to stop supplying fuel to Russian forces. This is not a threat—it merely demonstrates that we have full awareness of the facts. All discussions are conducted privately. If no progress is made, we will proceed with stronger measures."
